Welcome to the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors (TSPS) Dallas—Chapter 5

We take great pride in serving the Dallas, Collin, Ellis, Fannin, Grayson, Hunt, Kaufman, and Rockwall counties. From our founding, TSPS has remained steadfast in fostering professional development and upholding the integrity of surveying practitioners. It is my distinct honor to extend this welcome to you, and I encourage you to join our gatherings to discover the robust network and prospects that TSPS Chapter 5 provides.

Our objective is to cultivate a forum where surveyors forge connections with peers, refine their expertise via continuing education, and advance the discipline of land surveying. We are dedicated to equipping our members with a professional environment that tests their abilities and readies them for the evolving technological demands of the field. The dedication and zeal of our membership enable us to contribute meaningfully to society and nurture emerging surveyors through instructional programs and financial aid.

At the heart of our organization lie principles such as safeguarding the public interest, maintaining integrity, delivering service, pursuing excellence, adhering to ethics, and fostering community. Our diverse membership – encompassing licensed surveyors, trainees, students, and affiliates – consistently strives to adhere to elevated technical and moral benchmarks in the practice of surveying.

In my role as the newly appointed president of TSPS Chapter 5, I bring to bear more than two decades of expertise in land surveying, building upon the solid groundwork established by my predecessors. It is with genuine anticipation that I await your insights into advancing Chapter 5 to benefit both our established colleagues and emerging professionals. Although I possess my own vision for our future accomplishments, my primary duty is to consider membership proposals and endeavor to bring them to fruition.

If you have recently learned about Land Surveying, know that our doors are open to all, join us at our meetings, and I’ll be your strongest advocate in launching a successful career in Land Surveying.

Let’s continue to build Chapter 5 together.
